HBCU Entrepreneur’s Week is a bi-annual immersive event experience and year-round digital platform created with and for students, alumni, faculty and staff of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
How this all came to be is somewhat serendipitous and can be contributed to having a passion for inclusive collaboration and lifelong learning, being open to connect and unafraid to reach out, having a knack for both seeing and seizing opportunities, and simply taking action to get things done.
There are many people and circumstances that have contributed directly as well as indirectly to the initial launch and HBCU Entrepreneur’s Week is continuously evolving and being improved upon thanks to the commitment and work of event committee volunteers, the funding support of donors and event sponsors, and the servant leadership of Entrepreneurship For Everyone.

We believe that everyone should have access to the knowledge, tools, and connections necessary to thrive as an innovator, intrapreneur, and entrepreneur.
At HBCU Entrepreneur’s Week™️ our mission is to provide unparalleled interdisciplinary entrepreneurship experiences, opportunities, resources, and support to HBCU students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
We also recognize the importance of creating strong connections between HBCUs, their surrounding areas and local minority owned businesses, fostering mutually beneficial collaborations that uplift both the individuals, the HBCU ecosystem, and these communities at large. As such, each event is hosted at a different destination throughout the network of 104 HBCUs in 20 U.S. States, DC, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Developed in close collaboration with Entrepreneurship For Everyone (a Virginia nonprofit), and with the support of strategic partners and sponsors, these transformative events serve as catalysts for entrepreneur development while fostering the growth of inclusive and sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
